Terms of Use

Welcome to Lovin. Lovin is run by Lovin Games LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("Lovin", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. They are short, and they matter.

Who can play

• You must be 18 or older and a currently enrolled student at your school.
• One account per person. Use your real name and real photos of yourself.
• You must stay in the area for the whole game (for example at BYU). Leaving town can get you removed and makes you ineligible for prizes.

Play kindly and safely

• Hearts only. No contact, ever. Never touch another player or their things beyond placing the sticker.
• On foot only. No cars, bikes, scooters, skateboards, or other vehicles.
• No hearts in housing, classrooms, testing centers, or other off-limits places.
• Never follow, block, chase, corner, or harass anyone. If someone asks you to stop, stop.
• Never share your target's name, photos, or location outside the app.
• Follow the law and your school's policies at all times.

Your content

• You own your photos, videos, and messages. You give us permission to store and show them as needed to run the game, including showing your tag videos to the players in your game.
• Don't post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, or that invades someone's privacy.

Prizes and power-ups

• Lovin is free to join and free to win. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win a prize.
• The prize for each game is paid by Lovin Games LLC from its own funds. It is shown on the Prize screen before you join, and it does not change with the number of players or with anything people buy. See Me > Prize and the Official Rules.
• Prizes are paid by Venmo or PayPal after the game. Winners are responsible for any taxes on a prize. Prizes may depend on eligibility, verification, and local law.
• Power-ups (such as Shields, Invisibility, Clock Boosts, and the Survival Pack) and heart styles are optional one-time purchases made through Apple. The price is shown before you buy, and nothing renews automatically. They are for use in the game, add nothing to the prize, and have no cash value.
• The Lovin+ Pass is an optional one-time purchase for a single game (it does not renew). It adds faster location updates of the player you hunt (about every 2 minutes instead of 10), one Shield and one Invisibility, a badge and extra stats. It is for use in the game, adds nothing to the prize, and does not guarantee a win.
• Purchases and refunds are explained on our Purchases and Refunds page, available in the Me tab and on our website.
• Apple is not a sponsor of any game, contest, or prize and is not involved in them in any way.

Fair play

• Organizers make the final call on tags, disputes, and prizes.
• We can remove any player or content that breaks these terms or makes the game unsafe, and we may end or change a game at any time.

Staying safe is on all of us

• Lovin is an optional game. You take part voluntarily and are responsible for your own safety and conduct.
• To the fullest extent the law allows, Lovin and its organizers are not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages that come from playing, except where caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
• The app is provided as is, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time from the Me tab. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we'll tell you in the app, and continuing to play means you accept it.
