Coming soon to Provo
Someone has your name.
Lovin is a no-contact campus game, like Senior Assassin but with hearts. You get a target. You stick a heart on their backpack. Last one standing wins.
You're on the list.
We'll email you the moment sign-ups open for your housing. Tell a friend. The more people in your building, the better the game.
How a round works
- 1
Get a target
When the game starts, the app gives you one person to find, with their photos and building.
- 2
Stick a heart
Put a heart sticker on their backpack. No touching, no contact.
- 3
They confirm
Your target gets a notification and confirms the tag. If they say nothing for an hour, it counts.
- 4
Take their target
You inherit whoever they were hunting. Tag someone within 2 days or you're out.
The last player standing wins.
Ground rules
On foot only
No cars, scooters or bikes. You play on your own two feet.
Quiet hours
No tags between 12am and 7am, and your location is off then too.
Big campus days
On a football Saturday the whole game pauses, and so do the clocks.
You're in control
Block or report anyone, pause, or leave the game and delete your account whenever you want.
Questions
What does it cost?
Nothing. Lovin is free to join and free to win. The prize is paid by Lovin Games LLC from its own funds, and it is the same no matter how many people play. There are also optional power-ups and heart styles you can buy in the app, but nobody has to buy anything to play or to win. See the Purchases and Refunds page.
Who runs Lovin?
Lovin is run by Lovin Games LLC, a Utah limited liability company, as a student project. It is not affiliated with or sponsored by Brigham Young University or Apple.
What do I need to play?
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later, a few photos so your hunter can recognize you, and a backpack.
Who sees my location?
Location is used only inside the game, it is off from 12am to 7am, and it is deleted when you are out or the round ends.
When does it start?
Join the waitlist and you'll get one email when sign-ups open for your housing. Each housing complex plays its own game.
